SlockOne began making waves at various underground battle leagues. In 2018, he participated at the Calabarzon Process of Illumination tryouts and ended up as one of the special picks. The Las Pinas-born emcee took on Duma in his debut match at the inaugural Won Minutes event. Despite losing his first encounter, fans still admired his performance. SlockOne then showed vast improvements especially during FlipTop’s quarantine battles era. Apart from his freestyle skills, he became renowned for his mesmerizing flow and witty punchlines. SlockOne has his own YouTube channel, which features his music, reactions, and battles from Kumpronta. The aforementioned league aims to give more exposure to up-and-coming local emcees. He also appears on several TEAM PINSAN videos.
