Illtimate gained a small following in the underground scene after competing in different amateur battle leagues in the country. The Pampanga-based emcee quickly became well-known for his captivating pen game. In 2018, he joined the Process of Illumination tryouts and despite not winning the tournament, he became part of the special picks. Illtimate finally made his debut at the inaugural Won Minutes event, where he took on Vitrum. Their clash is often considered as the battle of the night by fellow emcees and fast. Illtimate continued battling in the pandemic era, gaining impressive wins against Luxuria and Duma. His delivery may be laidback most of the time, but his rhyme schemes and punches remain deadly.
